The first step is admitting it.

Hi. My name is John, and I'm a Webkinz-aholic. My best defense is that it is my plan to turn over my collection to Adelaide when she is old enough to enjoy them. I hope. But until then, it is up to me to enjoy them while I can. Also, it is a good way for me to unwind after a long day of work and my responsibilities around the house. And it beats drinking, right?

Here I am with one of the best reasons I can think of to celebrate Father's Day. Everyone is telling us as she gets older she looks more like me. I need to unearth some child photos of me to compare at similar ages(if I can).

2 Month Check-up

Addie had her two month check-up today. Our little girl weighed in at 11.4 lbs. She is at the 50th % in weight. She measured 20 and 3/4 in for the 10th % in length... who'd have guessed!! ;-) And on Monday she will have her shots... ugh! Just keeping you up to date on our slow growing weed!!

After a massive bout of spitting up after a seemingly yummy supper, our only hope for a clean baby was to hose her down. Here is the happy result.

Last week, being the end of May in Northwest Indiana, it was of course in the low 50's, windy and wet. It was our last gasp to try on a hat that Courtney knitted whilst on the nest. Although it looked cute, about 12 seconds after it went on, Adelaide began shrieking. Apparently it was a little itchy. Who knew?

And best yet, as I load this picture, I see that it is another one for the middle finger mural! YES!!

A little happy time on the activity mat.

Adelaide gets some sensory overload on her activity mat every now and then. She'll watch the lights and play with the toys, and then her arms and legs will go stiff and she'll just stare at the lights and not move. Can there possibly be too much of a good thing?

When I catch some video of the overload, I'll be sure to post it. Until then, just enjoy the cuteness.

9 lbs!!

Adelaide had a check up at the doctor today and tipped the scales at 9 pounds. That's up almost half a pound from last Friday. She's catching up, Sam! ; )
